Breeding Short fin Mollys with Sailfin mollys

Have a tankful of both green sailfins with Shortfin mollies.
Is it possible to breed Shortfin mollies with green Sailfin Mollies?
It looks as if they don't want to breed together

Yes it is possible because they are both mollies. Also mollies and guppies can breed together and platies and swordtails can breed together. It might just take them a little bit to get to used to each other if you just put them together.

yes like said before, are they the same species? they will breed. but there is the youtian mollie and another to, there are 3 species of mollie.
