Hello everyone. I would like to set up a shrimp breeding tank but would also like to keep guppies with them. I have

- 2 HOB filters w/ sponge intake
- 10 gal tank
- about 15 guppies.
-regular gravel
- harder water

I would like to know

-what shrimp would be easiest to breed in these conditions
- what supplies I would need
- I don't like moss so what other plants are good

Thank you for the help

Good luck, in a tank that small those guppies will make short work of any shrimp you have. I had 6 guppies in a 30 gallon with shrimp and they ate them all.

The guppies will actively hunt those shrimp.

Best to have shrimp breeding tank separate.

Dude, if you want a shrimp tank, then no fish unless you go to like a 40G or bigger with live plants like java moss, xmas moss, etc. for the baby shrimp to hide in then it will work. i have done this in a 55G.
