I was just Wondering if anyone has ever successfully breed tiger barbs in their aquariums?

I would get at least ten barbs and condition them in a 30 gallon tank then add a spawning mop

I currently have 6 in a 100 gallon, is 6 enough or should I buy more

I have, repeatedly, commercially and for my own tanks. You just need one female and one male to have a successful spawn. The best way (IMO) to breed them is intentionally in a separate tank. The fry are small and need special attention at first then become easy as pie

Is it normal for baby tiger barbs to look almost like green tiger barbs? I only had 2 surviving babies in my first try. But they are more green and don't really have stripes?
