So I found a fry in my molly tank and figured that one of my females gave birth in the night. I managed to catch it and put it in a grow out tank with some older fry ( a few weeks old).
With the size difference will the new fry be ok? It is big enough that it probably won't be eaten by the other fry. I'm more worried about them bullying it to death.

Probably not a problem. Make sure to keep the babies fed in very small feedings several times a day. Plenty of routine and frequent pwc!!!

Congrats on the new baby. Maybe some more in the plants?

Ok thanks. I do have a ton of plants in there, it was just swimming along the sides of the tank yesterday. The other fry were real curious about it.

Its a does it fit in the mouth it could be food thing. These fish will enjoy live foods, it's their natural food sources in the wild.

You can always feed them first. Shut off light a bit after feeding time, then add a new fish.
