Hey fish heads!
First I want to thank all who have shown interest and shared info on my 'beloved' rams.
Next I really want to keep track of how my rams do with other people.
So if you have purchased or received my rams I would really like to hear how they are doing for you.
I know most breeders want to just sell , but I have to say I sell/trade locally without issue so my sending fish across the country is more an effort to spread quality stock.
So those of you who have received rams from me please send back any input possible you can.
Don't fluff me!
Please say how they are doing.
And a big THANKS to all who have my rams.

I'm about to introduce beast to his lovely brides.. pics to come!

Judging by color and belly size, you'll have eggs very soon.

Thanks B!

The ram with the red face is the male and the smaller is the female?

Yea the two on the left are girls and the 'beast' on the right is the male.
Many different ways to sex the GBR but if a set of fry are all raised together then the males will always be the larger.
For all the other tells in sexing that are not 100% I have not seen a female bigger then the larger males of the same group.

Dorsal ray counts and lengths are always a dead give a waym

I'm uploading a video on my thread soon, really captures the group dynamics, keep in mind this union is on 20 minutes old.. females seem to have a mutual respect thus far. Sure that will change though.. I have other places for one of them if it gets crazy.

Hahaha! I'm really excited to see the L333 produce. Maybe then I can get first dwarf cichlids. Previously had oscars in high school and angels about 10 years ago

Both of my rams have long 3rd rays if thats what your talking about.

As for the rams overall they are great. They spawned days after arriving, and have since spawned almost weekly. Moving tanks didn't affect the pattern. Really a great fish, mine are always swimming at the surface begging for food. They remind me of my clownfish, aquatic puppies i tell you!
