Corydora Breeding Questions
To start, I know nothing about fish like at all. I bought several fish for my kids including an emerald corydora about a year ago and was surprised to find a second corydora in the tank about a week later.
The emerald corys were the only fish to survive the Texas freeze so we just restocked with a plecco and 4 more corydoras as we learned how social they are.
Well, surprise surprise after laying eggs many times and never having fish, they successfully bred over a dozen new emeralds. I have them separated in a little reptile tank for now. My main tank is only 20 gallons. How many of these little hatchlings can I expect to keep if any? What do I do with the ones I do not have space for. My kids are thrilled at the prospect of raising them but I obviously want to do what is best for the fish.
Thank you in advance for anything you can help with.
