one of my female had her first lot of eggs almost 8weeks ago and one of the other females has been really fat ever since the other one had her lot of eggs... does anyone know how long they can carry eggs for or could it be a phantom pregnancy .:-D thanks

There is no geastation period for egg scatterers to carry eggs. They develop eggs and will drop them when a male and her spawn. In the absence of suitable males to breed with they will most of the time just drop their infertile eggs or in a worse case scenario will become egg bound and develop a bacterial infection and die. But usually they dump them. Bill
