Just this past week I notice that all four of my male GBR's are digging pits in the gravel, but the females haven't laid any eggs in a while. I can tell that they are full of eggs but I never see them anymore. Maybe they are laying them at night and eating them at night as well because I never see them in the morning. They will pretty much lay anywhere, including my big piece of driftwood. Seems like they are starting to prefer the pool filter sand though.
