Female betta making bubble

I have a veil tail betta female and she's been making bubble nest. Not really big but just around her vase. Dose female usually make bubble nest? And yes it's a female I see the egg sport.

I don't think they do, but who knows? The gravidity you see (the bump) is possibly just bloat from over feeding. Boil a pea(bowl of water in microwave for a few mins) and put the soft insides in the tank after skipping feeding for 1-2 days. Any other fish in the tank? I'm 90% sure only males build nests... Try googling it

Yes they will. Not all the time usually & not as big as a male will but it happens.

Oh & some males can have a fake ovipositor, the white dot.

Cool! I was going off my experience with breeding dwarf gouramis.... That's cool that both sexes of betta will bubble nest it up!

Ik it's a female and now both of my female are blowing bubble now , one of them been breed before egg came out. I have one male in a separate tank between the two female. All three make bubble nest but not as large at the male.
