Filter problem

I have a fluval 403 been running for about7months from new .I have cleaned regularly and the impeller but it only runs for a vouple of hours then I have to turn it off for 10min switch back on ok for another two hours . I may have already posted this on my introduction dont get on gadgets lol regards

Honestly, I am sure you don't want to hear this but I would not run a canister that old. The old Fluval's had issues when they were new and that one must be well over 10 yrs old.

There is nothing worse than coming home to 2/3 of your tank water on the floor.
