Im just sort of wondering what im gonna do with 20 full grown guppies in a few months......ill figure something out:)

So after about 2 weeks of my female guppy looking pretty fat and thinking she was constipated, I've decided she's probably going on close to three weeks of being pregnant. I think I'm going to have a ton of guppies here sometime in the next two weeks! Super excited! Lol

I thought I'd post a few pics of my platy fry of varying ages. The tiny black ones are 2 weeks, the yellow ones are 4 weeks, the larger black ones are 6 weeks, the largest black ones are 10 weeks.

The yellow ones are my absolute favourite! I have no adults of that colouring in my tank, so mama fish obviously brought some interesting sperm home with her! Their black tails, fins, and lips are awesome!

All of my little ones are two weeks old and thriving :) in the first pic you can see that one has a blackish looking belly this seems to be happening often with my platys .. is this normal? Ive never had platy fry before so it just seemed odd to me .. anyone know?

Maybe feed them a little less?I think may just be the regular genes that they recieved from the mom or dad.Did the mom or dad have any black color?

Not that i know of.. mom is a red platy and as far as i know the dad is either a koi platy ( red and white) or a red platy

Does the red Platy have black near his tail?It could also be a cool mix of some sort with the polka dots.

I've seen those advertised at pet stores as bumblebee platies because of the black & yellow coloring.

That's probably why momma threw out some mostly yellows.

Well then Im guessing its not anything malignant. They are alive and healthy so just keep doing what you've been doing.

Update on fry:1 month old now!:) they grow so quickly they've definitely doubled in size. They make look tiny, but you can see them swimming around from 10 feet away.None have died except one!
