Hi everyone! So I have a mated pair that I recently added to my 46 gallon tank to try to breed. However I have a big male in the tank that is harassing both of them. My tank is mostly live plants so it is hard to re-arrange everything but I did add in some new plants and moved a few items around. I tried separating him but he didn't seem to care and when right back to chasing them after he was released from time out. The new male seems to be very submissive to the butthead I lovingly call Sushi. Do I need to get another female to get him to leave the pair alone??

thanks in advance!

The only option that will 100% work, is to either move the breeding pair, or move the other male.

+1 1 of 2 things will happen the large male bullies them to death or the pair gang up and beat the crap out of him either way it's not pretty
