Guppies

I have 4 pregnant guppies one of them keeps swimming from top to bottom of the tank by the filter any ideas why it is doing and how long are they normally pregnant for?

Guppies gestation period is around 21 days. I am not sure about the swimming up and down. Do you plan in moving the fry to another system or keeping them with the rest of the fish.

I will transfer them into a floating breeder tank within the original tank

That's good. I tried breeding guppies but I did not have much success so good luck I hope it works out great for you

Well still no baby guppies but one looks like its do big it's gonna burst

It will come. Just a word of advice. When I had guppies two got pregnant and after giving birth they died shortly after. I think now that it could have been prevented by separating the mother to feed her and build her health back up before joining the pack.

These guppies haven't given birth they are huge and full but maybe I am wrong about it although they look like the 2 guppies I have that had babies before

do you have any photos? to make sure she is pregnant and not dropsy.
