Guppy breeding tips please?

So, I've been wanting to breed guppy for a while now and I've looked into it quite a bit, but with all the strains and stuff it's a bit much. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the basics. Thanks
On another note I want to breed a green or blue guppy with a long fins (I know basic person here)XD. Thanks again

if you know what strain you want, than you need a trio. I prefer 1 male 3 females. I have a pool with several strains. now its a mutt pool. all kinds of colors. And my grandson keeps putting male endlers in it. He says the endlers are to small and he wants a lg endler. So its realy mutted now. You need half the tank heavy planted. I use bare bottom. Plastic grass matts. With all kinds of baby saving plastic plants. The guppies do the rest.
