If you really want to. A large angelfish will likely eat them if he can catch them. Not sure about rummynose, but newborns probably would get eaten, only way to find out is to toss them in and see.

Is it a possibility that they could grow up in a community tank or are they bound to get eaten

They'll probably get eaten but it just depends on tankmates and amount of cover.
