Guppy Fry - hooray!

I have new friends in my tank! :D I assume that the happy mother is Lola, my leopard-tail guppy, because she's the only female that has suddenly "got skinny".

I have no idea how many there are, but they are the cutest! They have no markings yet, I wonder how long it takes for them to be colourful (mom has a yellow tail w/ black spots, dad has a big red tail).

Unfortunately, I'm not trying to save them all (it seems most of you on this forum do). I don't want to overpopulate too soon, which is probably also the reason I've only had 2 platy fry mature instead of 20. My platies are having a good time hunting. I suppose it's survival of the fittest!
 
I never take my guppy fry out either, but there's so many guppies that I still need to scoop out a large batch of grown guppies every once in a while to sell or trade.

Once they get going they really go.
