Angelfish are one of those fish that are next to impossible to sex unless they are mating.

It appears to be a male. But as stated it is difficult to tell unless they are spawning.

Sadly, using all the "tricks" I know with sexing Angels, this fish is showing some of the now common issues with domestic Angels and gender. It's showing the forehead of a male but the finnage of a female. So as previously stated, with this fish, only spawning activity will definitely determine the sex this fish imo.
