How mollies breed

My friend and i are arguing over how mollies breed

We can't figure out if the male actually injects the sperm or just kinda squirts it out and hopes it gets in the female.

HELP, pretty please

I understood that it get injected in and that it is so fast that you often don't really se the moment it happens...... But that is just what I gathered about livebarers in general.

LOL...that really gave me a chuckle.

Yes, it is an 'insert tab A into slot B' sort of operation, but as mentioned, it happens pretty quickly, so it is easy to miss....and since mollies, like most other livebearers, can store sperm for several weeks, it doesn't need to happen every time, either.
