I'm fairly new to keeping aquariums, but I set up a cichlid tank 1.2 years ago. I have different species of cichlids in the tank, and there is only one of each type of species in the tank. These species include:
Acei
Hongi red top
Yellow lab
Demasoni
Elongatus likoma (this is female due to the coloring)
I was cleaning my tank the other day and lifted one of the tank ornaments up to clean under it and noticed 4 fry swimming about. They definitely have vertical stripes like the demasoni and likoma. Some are blue-colored while others look like they are a little green. Are any of the fish in my tank infamous for being a hybrid-making species? Also, is there a website that gives a lot of information on hybrid species? I can read up on the details myself, but I'm just looking for someone to point me in the right direction. Thanks!
