hyphessobrycon ornatus-pink tetras breeding

My daughter has these pink tetras in a community tank. For the last two days, one of the tetra is guarding the betta's log roll. I can not find anything about breeding, or much about these fish. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate your help. Thank you ahead of time.

Can't take pictures because she is in TN and I am in GA.
