identifying pregnant zebra danios

i have 2 zebra danios and 1 of them appears to be getting fatter but i am not sure if it is pregnant or just fat. i looked at the fish and it looks like there is a blacker spot near the back like in guppies but is this a sign of pregnancy? any help would be great and photos even better.

Hey Mr F, there is another thread on this topic called "baby zebra danios?" that has some really good reference links. If you don't get any more specific answers in reply, check this link (if it works...I'm kind of computer-stupid)

Good luck, and let us know what happens

Zebra Danios lay eggs, they do not give birth to live young. The female becomes plump with eggs. My danios breed almost every morning when the lights come on.
