Hey guys,
I bought a few male guppies from my local petsmart (sigh) and even though I swore the one looked like a female, they assured us it was a male. I should have trusted myself because I believe I have a pregnant guppy now! I only think this because I believe I am seeing a gravid spot on my fish. The one thing I have noticed is it is very transient. The spot will be not apparent and then 15 minutes later will be bright and clear and then will go away later. Is this typical for a gravid spot or could it be something else? I have attached picture so you could help confirm. Thanks! The pictures were taken a mere 20 minutes apart!

If the fish has a Gonopodium, it IS a male. ( if you are not sure what to look for, Google: Sexing Guppies Pictures ) Unfortunately, when I blow up your pics, they get too blurry for me to see for sure so you will have to look. To me, the spot looks more like a coloration spot than a gravid spot. I have a whole line of Guppies that have that same coloration but they are definitely males. (y)

I think they all look like males
