Is this type of grass good?

I think one of my fish is pregnant and may give birth tonight. Is this type of grass good for fry? It will float and get pushed around by the filter. Or should I try and weigh it down? Here are some pictures of the fish. Best I could get.

I'd say get a whole bunch of it then put it in parts of the tank and weigh it down get a plant like a banana plant and float that that would be your best bet
