Jewel Cichlid breeding

I have a previous Jewel Cichlid in my one aquarium that im going to convert into a breeding tank. I decided to try to breed him/her but if I go out and buy another jewel cichlid of the opposite sex will they pair up and breed or will they do nothing.

yes they will and u will have 300 babies every 2 weeks
