Almost positive you have a male krib there but it's colors are very flushed

agreed its a stressed male, look into the meaning of " pelvicachromis pulcher "

Depends on the size it could be a female. It doesnt have the sharp tail or top fin of a male

Fin size sit a reliable way to tell. A males find could have been nipped off, or a female could have naturally longer find like a male.
