So I got a female and put her in a 20g which already had a male in it. Im just wondering how long it might take for them to start breeding?

Well it depends on if they are sexually mature or not. If they are I would say not too long.

Ok thanks. They both put up their fins every time they see eah other. Does this mean they're trying to "woo" each other?

Baby cichlids are gonna be sweet haha, I can't wait to see how they raise them.

They may shiver in front of each other or vibrate. Then they are trying to 'woo' each other

yeah the male is doing that alot, the female seems interested for a few seconds when he shakes like that but then swims away, just going to take some time i guess
