i usually make my own fry food but i wanted to throw this out there to see what other people do and use.

1 part flake
1 part blood worm
1part algae wafer

grind to powder

so what do you use to make your fry food ?

I have normally just powdered flake, but I like your plan might give that a try.

I just leave min in the tank, they just eat what the others eat, flakes

I use boiled egg yoke when they are small, the flake, then frozen brine shrimp. They are quite easy to feed. :)

i have read about egg yoke, but it looks like a mess to feed fry without a lot of pollutant..... any advice how to feed them yoke?

Hi i simply crush up normal flake food, then simply make sure it sinks by immersing your fingers with the flake between them:)

I mix mine with water till its really watery and dip a little bit, very little where the fry are grathered. I don't have too much of a problem since most of the fry are gathered up top ;)
I make sure not to get any chunks of yoke, cus that will really ruin the water.
