Lyretail guppy and regular guppy breeding

Ok I have a make lyretail guppy in with my 4 female regular guppy and they have no interest in him. He trust to mate with them but loses interest or gives up. Not like the other make guppies I have. What could be the problem? Is it because he is a lyretail?

That is odd maybe a stress thing have you tried one or two female instead of four?
