Is this even possible? He looks like he has more eggs than my female. An he is definitely a male as I have seen him mating with my female.

Thoughts?

No, males don't carry eggs. I don't know of any hermaphrodite fish examples in this species, but who knows.

How long has he had that spot?

+1 They are livebearers. Could be pregnant though!

I have only had him a week and he has had it since I've had him and at least a week in the store because I've seen him at my lfs....I just think its strange, I've read about people who have had fish change gender but I don't know if I believe it. Could it just be his stomach?

Get a close up pick if you can that'll help us determine male or female

Here, like I said no doubt he has a Gono...

I know! And it's so weird bc I have seen his Gono while he mates with my female who's gravid is not half that size!
