Mating bettas?

How do you tell when a male betta is ready to Mate ,and what is bubble nesting ?

He will build a bubble nest when he is ready. More important though is when the female is ready.

Bubble nests are just that, a collection of bubbles at the water's surface. There are many good websites about bettas and books also.
