Molly fry bullying my snail?

My baby mollies sometimes go up to my snail and poke him or his shell. He immediately retreats and I feel so bad for him! I've had this issue before, but then I was able to move my snail to a different tank- now the tank is brackish and being medicated, so I can't. Does anyone know why this is happening? Are my fry hurting my snail? I just want to make sure they aren;t doing any damage to him.

My mollies go after the snail to try to clean or eat anything on his shell. They peck at him the same way the do the gravel and decorations. My snail doesn't seem to mind much but will sometimes retreat.

No I'd say your snail is fine. I have an albino pleco that occasionally sucks on my snails shell! No joke! It's very interesting to watch. My snail also retreats when this happens lol.
