Hey everyone, I was wondering if red platys and golden panda mollys will mate together? I have no idea if it's possible or if they will even try. Thanks

I think they can or it's mollies and swordtails. I'm not exactly sure so I might let someone else chime in. Just gotta say, you'll have trouble selling the fry. Some will be deformed . Or maybe because theyre in the same family they might not end up deformed.

It's platies and swordtails,
Guppies, endlers, and mollies
So you could breed a molly and a guppy but not a Molly and a platy. They can only breed within the genus they are in.

The guppies and mollies are in different families. They are both livebearers but they have different families. Therefore they couldn't breed

They can it is just hard. The result are also infertile. They can breed. I found that out while researching crossbreeds.
