How long does it take for the fish to release all the baby guppys ? Any one help please !

It could take anywhere from a couple hours to a day. But no longer than a day for sure.

Also be aware that the gravid spot may not be gone after dropping. It is possible for a guppy to hold on to some of the fry and drop them at a later time.

And sometimes the gravid spot doesn't go completely away till all sperm has been used (guppies can hold sperm for some months therefore is prego fast as they drop). My platy gravid spot has never disappeared I have had her since Aug 1012 she has had fry every month from 25 days to 30 days...she is currently prego and is getting really boxy which she should be having them within the next 3-7 days......btw I bought her only no male so she is still holding sperm and its been 5 months now
