I saw you were having a devil of a time with yours. I've been super lucky in only having one pair so far that were uncooperative. That gold pair I have are really big bullys and honestly the most boring non personality having fish I own. Only upside to them is their offspring.
The pair in this thread have been amazing the whole way through. I gave them some BS tonight as a treat and they loved it. I really love how they are the "set it and forget it" type of parents.
My hopeful next pair a black zebra and black clown veil pair. They are a lot like these in they looked rough when I picked them up from the LFS
and are doing well now. Time will tell as to them being a viable pair.
I also went by the LFS
today to see how sales of my last batch went. All were gone except for 3 or so and one ha started to express pearlscale which blew my mind. I'm ready for spring so I can sell some resale.
