Well my daughter wanted to get into having some fish about a year and a half ago. We went from one 55 gallon tank to
55 gallon tanks x2 Have Angelfish, Cordura, Neon
20 gallon tall Convicts
10 gallon-mollies and Zebra fish
5 gallon-currently empty
We noticed a while back 2 Angelfish paired off and were laying eggs so one 55 gallon tank only has the pair and 2 small snails in it.
We tried letting the Angelfish raise their own a few weeks ago and the babies made it to little swimmers then they went missing. I am not sure if the fish ate them or they starved. We tried doing the baby brine shrimp but I am not sure they were able to get them in such a large tank. Since then the Angelfish pair have laid twice the last ones this morning. pic attached
The eggs are on the slate.
We just bought a 5 gallon tank to try and artificially raise the eggs but have not got any methylene blue yet so will have to hold off on that for now. Any suggestions on getting it right next time????
