My platy is pregnant again. I got a breeder tank that will keep her separated and the fry safe. It says to put her in a couple of days before but that's hard to judge. Anyone got good tips to know when it's nearly time. I heard that the males follow her constantly when she is close or that she will rub her stomach on things. The problem is the males follow her all the time anyway ( I'm guessing she is good looking ;) any other help so I make sure to get her in on time?

I would move her after she isolates herself or you can tell shes acting different and when she's not eating.

my platies average a drop every 4-5weeks, so "heads-up"
other than that, livebearer breeding is just something that is mainly learned through a few months experience :)
