Peacock Gudgeon eggs
So I have unintentionally gotten myself a happy pair of peacock gudgeons and have spawned twice now. I would really like to hatch the eggs but have no idea how to do that. They spawn in a claypot in my 10 gallon and the male does fan them but eventually they hatch and either get eaten or they are in there and I just can’t see them. I am trying to hatch a plan to take the eggs and try to get them to hatch on my own so I can raise them. Here is what I have
1 gallon plastic food container
5 watt heater
Air stone.
My question is , Do I actually need an established filter in there to hatch them and do the anti-mold drops work? I was hoping to place the whole pot in and hope that there is enough beneficial bacteria on it. Any help or links would be great help. Thank you
