I have a platy that has had three sets of babies, but there's no male platy present. I've had her since October so it's not that she's holding sperm. Anyone know anything?

Oh wow. I guess that explains it. I just heard that they can only hold sperm for a week or two. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity!

Yeah they can have six batches of fry before they run out of sperm .
