Well, sometime in the last day or two one of my Platies dropped fry. I was getting ready for a water change when I saw a strange little pink thing swimming around, and a juvenile Angel immediately move in for the kill. They move so darn fast I couldn't tell if it was eaten. I dropped some floating plastic plant cover in and saw one fry hovering just below it a while ago, but no sightings for over an hour. I am putting some finely crushed flake food atop the floating cover when I feed. Since I only saw one at a time, it could be a lone survivor, or perhaps there are a few more hiding around the tank?

And I just thought the Platy was well fed.

Well, none left. I didn't notice them soon enough to provide adequate cover. I set up some fry cover now, so next time?
