I'm pretty sure my 3 fish are pregnant but I'd like a second opinion. Anyone? (I know the picture with the twin bars is a bit blurry)

The first two pictures id say yes. Can't really tell by the third picture.

Here is a better picture.(top left) I can see her gravid spot but she doesn't appear to have a large bulgy abdomen. Is it possible she is just carrying a small amount of fry?

I just want to be prepared. I had a swordtail deliver a few days ago that I never even realized was pregnant. I wasn't able to save any of her fry =[ I'm hoping to do better next time! Looks like I may have ample opportunity to try haha. By the way, your avatar is cool. The swordtail that just delivered is named Khaleesi and her favorite mate is Drogo

Haha nice to see another game of thrones fan! If you want to save your fry you should look into getting a hatchery for the pregnant females

I have a seperate tank that I usually use to raise platy fry. I just had no idea that she was pregnant =[ here are some pictures of Khaleesi and Drogo haha sorry his is kinda bad quality. He prefers to swim in the back of the tank

Beautiful fish! But be careful because the mother may also eat the fry
