Watch for the eggs to turn from yellow to greenish... then you are within about a week usually.

I just got a pair of cherries and have another 10 en route. The two I have seem pretty happy so far so I hope the will settle in and breed. I was wondering if 2-3 could live in my one gallon at work or if that would be too small? It is currently a plant and (1) snail habitat.

Considering people keep a couple hundred in a 10 gallon, i'm sure you could keep a couple in a 1

I am keeping the main population is a set of two 5 gallons linked by an aquabrdige. The 1 gallon snail is a small brigs. When he gets larger he will move to the main aquarium.
