Red eyed Tetras

I have a pair of Tetras who evidently have spawned as I found a baby fish in my tank last night. It is about 3/4 of an inch long. So I have a couple of questions.
How often will this happen? How do I know when they are ready to do it again? & about how old would a baby this size be? The mother is about 1 1/2 inches long we"ve had them about 7 months. They are in a 29g tank with 3 algie eaters, 5 guppies, & 2 red clawed crabs.

I found a second baby fish tonight. The larger fish don't seem to be bothering them, but I think I will feed the adults a little extra so they don't snack on the babies.
