I hope this is the correct forum for this question. I bought 3 scarlet badis on order from my LFS (ordered 1 male 2 females) and was disappointed to find that they gave me 2, possibly 3 males. The 2 males are obvious, but I wanted to check with you guys if the 3rd one is a female. If so, I am thinking of buying 3 more females and adding them to the 15g tank and keeping the 2 males. Do you guys think this will work, keeping 2 males and 4 females together (without the males killing each other or being stressed)?
Here are some pics, can you tell me if the lighter scarlet badis is in fact a female or an underdeveloped male? Thanks!
