This all makes sense now. Could I put them in a little Betta tank? Or would my main tank be more efficient?

How big is the betta tank? I'm sure if tere is a betta ther would be no little shrimp. A five or ten gallon, planted, with nothing but shrimp would be the best

It's like 1/2 gallon but it's a pretty good size nothing in it
