Something spawned!

Hi all, saw a gelatinous glob of little eggs floating in my tank just now. Quickly snapped a photo then my gourami ate them. Were these danio eggs?

doubt it was danios. the gourami builds bubble nests. If i'm not mistaken, danios scatter eggs?

were they floating on the top?

Look like snail eggs that got detached from whatever they were laid on.

Yea danios are egg scatterers.

They were just floating in the water, being lifted and spat out by the gourami. Whatever they were, I take it as a good sign that things are happy and healthy in my tank. Thanks for the help!
