How do u tell if a fish squared off i cant see it anyone have any pics

+1 with that pic you can see how her vent is open, more wide than usual, which means she is birthing!

still learning here... the vent. is that right there by her bottom fin - almost where the line points or more to the right along the bottom line?

Near where the line points....it's the bulging white thing. After staring at my pregnant guppies for weeks, it's the only REAL tell-tell sign for me.

thanks - I am sure I will get the hang of it soon enough. I remember when I thought it was hard to tell the girls and boys apart - now that is so easy to see I am not sure why I ever thought it was hard!
