Suggestions of fish I can breed in a 5.5gal

Any suggestions of fish I can breed in a 5.5gal? I have it laying around and want it to put it to good use. I don't want to put in there livebearers and tetras. Something different that doesn't need substrate in there tank.

Can't think of anything beyond a Betta or breeding RCS ( shrimp). And RCS breed faster in 10g AFAIK as they are more stable.

I have done bettas in a 5gal but had other tanks for separating after.

Ok anything else though or like anything to put in it? I am really aiming for those goby that can survive in there
