Swordtail breeding?

I have a pair of koi swords and was hoping to keep their gorgeous coloring in the tank. At what age (approx) do they start to breed, and is there anything I can do to help (mood lighting, "Let's Get it On" playing 24/7, etc )?

Well sword tails are related to platies and I have heard that platies do better with a little aquarium salt. I personally do not do that with my platies and they breed like crazy.

If that's the case, they'll be doing the bump 'n' grind soon enough...the couple of platies I have seem to be pregnant all the time.
