Swordtail fry...runts or albinos

I have 70-80 month-old showa swordtail fry living in their own 10g tank. maybe 10-12 i thought were albinos, have not grown at the same rate the others have been, now less than 1/3 the size of their normally colored siblings. i've noticed albinos in earlier batches of fry, but they were always the first to die as i was learning to raise the babies properly. so is it normal to have 10-15% runts with livebearers, or is this how albinos develop?
