Swordtails

My swordtail just gave birth a couple of days ago. The fry are in a separate tank and the mom is back in the normal tank. The male keeps swimming at her with his back facing her and I think he is trying to breed with her again. She keeps swimming away from him, but he won't leave her alone. I've heard that males are always ready to breed, but females aren't and that's why your supposed to have more females then males, but I only have one of each. What should I do how do I get him to leave her alone?

If you have room in the tank, you could add more females. Sometimes if you rearrange all the decor and stuff in the tank it helps. Otherwise if he keeps bothering her, you may want to separate them.

Adding extra hiding places like caves and plants will also help as well
